Best Reviewed House Cleaning in Lemont, IL
Professional cleaning services for homes and businesses in Lemont, including Downtown Lemont, Heritage Quarry, Ruffled Feathers, and surrounding neighborhoods. Chicago's best reviewed cleaning company with 500+ five-star Google reviews.
Lemont is a quarry town with a bluff, and that history is still visible in the houses. Near Old Town and Heritage Quarry you find limestone and older frame homes on tight lots and steep streets. South and west toward Ruffled Feathers and Cog Hill the lots open up and the construction gets much newer and much larger.
Older Lemont homes tend to have small rooms, narrow stairs and a lot of original surface that has never been replaced. They take longer than their square footage suggests, and we price them on the actual work rather than the floor plan. The newer golf course homes are the opposite: fewer rooms but far more of everything in them.
Every other week is the most common schedule here. We also handle a steady stream of deep cleans, move out cleans and post renovation work, since restoring an older Lemont home is a common project in the village and construction dust finds its way into every room in the house.
Downtown Lemont, the Old Town streets and the newer subdivisions are all inside our normal service area, and the price does not change based on which side of the bluff you are on.

Lemont has two very different kinds of homes, and a cleaning plan starts with which one you live in. In and around the historic downtown, on the hills above Main Street and Stephen Street, many houses date to the late 1800s and early 1900s. Some are built of the same local limestone that went into Chicago's Water Tower, and many have original woodwork, steep stairs, and small rooms on several levels. Up the hill and out toward 127th Street, McCarthy Road, and the Cog Hill and Ruffled Feathers golf courses, most homes were built from the 1990s on: larger floor plans, two story family rooms, more bathrooms, and a full finished basement.
Older downtown homes take more hand work per square foot. Stairs are cleaned step by step, original trim and doors are dusted and spot wiped, and stone or tile entries are cleaned with a product that will not etch them. Newer subdivision homes are faster per square foot, but there is more of it: big kitchens with stone counters, glass shower enclosures, and open railings on a second floor landing. We tell you up front which areas take the most time so you can decide what is covered every visit.
What it costs in Lemont. Phes uses the same published rates here as everywhere we work. Standard cleaning is $70 per hour with a $210 minimum. Deep and move out cleaning is $90 per hour with a $240 minimum, and most first deep cleans land between $470 and $720. Recurring service is $55 per hour weekly, $60 every two weeks and $65 every four weeks, with minimums of $180 weekly, $195 every two weeks, and $210 every four weeks. A four bedroom home in a golf course subdivision usually runs $260 to $340 for a standard clean, and a five bedroom home with a finished basement usually $300 to $400. A smaller downtown home usually runs $210 to $290.
Finished basements are where most Lemont visits gain or lose time. Tell us whether the lower level is part of every visit, every other visit, or only the deep clean, and we plan the team around it. The same goes for a home office, a guest suite, or a bonus room over the garage. Most clients are not home during the visit and leave a key, a lockbox code, or a keyless entry code. Visits run Monday through Friday and start no later than 2:00 PM. We ask for 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule, Sundays not counted, and if anything is missed, call within 24 hours and we come back to fix it.
Lemont is served by our southwest suburbs teams, along with Orland Park, Woodridge, and the communities along 127th Street. Moving into a new build? See our move in and move out cleaning, or start with a deep clean before recurring service.
We've used Phes for our Lemont home for two years. They handle our hardwoods, custom cabinetry, and vintage details with real care. Highly recommend!

Lemont Cleaning FAQs
How much does house cleaning cost in Lemont?
Standard cleaning is $70 per hour with a $210 minimum. A four bedroom subdivision home usually runs $260 to $340, and a five bedroom home with a finished basement $300 to $400. Recurring visits are $65 per hour.
Do you clean the historic homes downtown?
Yes. Older homes near Main and Stephen Streets get step by step stair cleaning, hand dusting of original trim, and products that are safe on stone and tile entries.
Is the finished basement included?
Only if you want it. Tell us whether the lower level is part of every visit, every other visit, or only the deep clean, and we plan the visit and the price around that.
Should I start with a deep clean?
It is not required, but it helps if the home has not been professionally cleaned recently. A first deep clean usually runs $470 to $720, and the recurring visits after it take fewer hours.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Most Lemont clients leave a key, lockbox code, or keyless entry code. We keep alarm and pet instructions on your account.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Sundays do not count toward the 48 hours.
