Experienced House Cleaner Job in Schaumburg, IL
Apply for an experienced house cleaner position with Phes Cleaning serving Schaumburg and Chicago's northwest suburbs. Join our professional W-2 cleaning team.
We are hiring experienced house cleaners out of our Schaumburg branch to run residential routes across the northwest suburbs.
This is a W-2 position. Taxes are withheld, pay lands weekly by direct deposit, and supplies and equipment are provided by us. The posted range is $20 to $26 per hour depending on experience.
The route runs through Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Palatine, Hoffman Estates, Roselle, Bloomingdale, Streamwood, Hanover Park, Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Mount Prospect and Des Plaines, with larger homes in Barrington and South Barrington. Most days are four to six homes with a partner, on a route planned the night before.
The housing is mostly subdivision construction from the 1960s through the 1990s: colonials, split levels and quad levels that repeat across whole neighborhoods. Once you have cleaned a hundred of them you know where the time goes before you walk in. Mixed into the route are townhome and condo units, and the larger custom homes out west that take a bigger team and a longer visit.
The northwest suburbs also carry more move in and move out work than the rest of our territory, because of the corporate corridor along I-90. Those jobs are empty houses on a deadline, with the inside of every cabinet, drawer and appliance in scope. They are harder than a recurring visit and a lot of cleaners prefer them.
What we are asking for. Prior professional house cleaning experience. Reliable transportation to reach the homes on your route. The legal right to work in the United States. Comfort using a phone app for your schedule, your time and job photos. Spanish or English, either is fine.
Training happens before you clean alone even with experience, because our checklists and product rules are specific and written down. After that you are on a set route with the same clients week after week, which is how the work gets faster and better at the same time.
To apply, write to careers@phes.io with your resume and put Schaumburg in the subject line.

Frequently Asked Questions
What towns would I be working in?
The northwest suburbs, out of Schaumburg. Arlington Heights, Palatine, Hoffman Estates, Roselle, Streamwood, Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Mount Prospect, Des Plaines and Barrington. You work near the branch rather than crossing the region.
Am I an employee or paid as a contractor?
An employee. W-2, taxes withheld, weekly direct deposit, supplies and equipment provided by us. We do not staff cleaning routes with contractors.
Is it all recurring homes?
Mostly, with deep cleans and move in or move out jobs mixed in. This branch does more move out work than the others because of the amount of relocation along the I-90 corridor.
Do you hire year round?
We hire when routes need cleaners, which is most of the year, and spring through early fall is the busiest stretch. If the posting is up, the role is open.
