We are hiring experienced house cleaners out of our Oak Lawn branch to run residential routes across the southwest suburbs and the South Side.
This is a W-2 position. Taxes are withheld, pay lands weekly by direct deposit, and supplies and equipment are provided by us. The posted range is $20 to $26 per hour depending on experience.
The route covers Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park, Burbank, Chicago Ridge, Alsip, Crestwood, Palos Hills, Worth and Bridgeview, reaching west to Hinsdale, La Grange, Western Springs and Downers Grove and south to Orland Park, Tinley Park and Frankfort. Most days are four to six homes with a partner, planned the night before so you know the shape of the day before it starts.
The housing here is mostly postwar brick, Georgians, Cape Cods and ranches, with larger custom homes in the western towns. That means real ceramic tile, older bathroom fixtures, finished basements in daily use, and clients who have lived in the same house for thirty years and notice everything. It is good work for someone who takes the detail seriously.
What the day looks like: recurring homes on a set schedule, deep cleans and move in or move out jobs mixed in, clocking in and out at each house on your phone, notes and photos where something needs flagging, and a partner you work with consistently rather than a new person every morning.
What we are asking for. Prior professional house cleaning experience, meaning you have done this for a company or on your own and can walk into a kitchen and know the order to work in. Reliable transportation to reach the homes on your route. The legal right to work in the United States. Comfort using a phone app for your schedule and your time. Spanish or English, either is fine.
What we are not asking for is speed at the cost of the work. Our clients are on recurring schedules and they stay because the house is right, not because the visit was short.
Training happens before you clean alone even with experience, because our checklists and product rules are specific and written down.
